Western and Native American Indian influenced Art and hand crafted items

For over 40 years I have been creating photo realistic drawings, paintings, murals and illustrations depicting Western themes and early Plains Indian influenced designs and motifs. My hand crafted peace pipes, wood carvings, wall hangings, hand made boxes and limited edition prints have been displayed in art galleries throughout Southern California as well as online galleries.

Bio:

I originally started out as a poster artist in the "60's" designing posters for national entertainment music venues in San Diego CA, including the Hippodrome Ballroom, Neutral Grounds Nightclub, The Green Onion Nightclub and The Bacchanal Nightclub, as well as poster art for The OB Trilogy for national distribution through Frank Kay productions in Hollywood CA. I was an illustrator for the Copley News Service (CNS) illustrating news stories for national syndication as well as advertising design and illustration for local and regional Southern California businesses. I was also a commissioned muralist designing and painting exterior and interior wall murals, I was commissioned to produce a 20' x 30' external wall mural for The Gavel Restaurant in San Diego CA and was commissioned to paint interior wall murals consisting of 12 panels totaling 120' of wall space for Rock Fantasy Studios in San Diego CA.

I have always had a deep interest in western art especially early Plains Indian lore, designs and motifs and started working with natural materials like leather (deer hide, buffalo hide, etc.)  deer antler, feathers, stone, and wood carving starting in the early "60's". I utilize my own interpretations of these design influences in my work.
